La autora looks at the important parts of what we give to society and the personal value we bring that can’t be measured by numbers. It’s important to say that many things we do, like being kind, being creative, and helping others, are very important for our communities and relationships.
This chapter of the book asks important questions about how we see ourselves and how our actions affect others. As an immigrant it makes sense, it highlights the unique perspectives and experiences that individuals bring to a diverse society. También nos invita a reflecionar en como estas cualidades constribuyen a la resiliencia y las experiencias compartidas, especialmente navegando challenges que no son visible to others
Something that I do that can't be measure, I would say listening, I try to be a safe space where people can share their feelings or stories, these moments are very important for making everyone feel like they belong and are supported, I may not measure how much my listening helps, but I see that it makes people feel valued and understood.
Listening -- what a great example of something one does that can't be measured! This example helped me understand the concept better.
